Wokingham Weather Monitoring Station

The anemometer (which is used to measure the wind speed) and
the weather vane (which is used to measure the direction of the wind)
are both located atop the mounting pole.
The rain gauge (which is a tipping bucket type) is located at the apex of the roof.
The Stevenson Screen (which houses the thermometer and wireless transmitter) is
located on the side of the shed.

Homemade Stevenson Screen details:
The original Stevenson Screen that came with my Fine Offset weather station was not very efficient
as it was too small and did not keep the sun off the temperature sensor, therefore it would heat up
and give a higher reading than expected.
So I decided to make myself a "Homebrewed Stevenson Screen" to upgrade the original one,
(complete with a solar fan to help get rid of heat buildup), which you can see in the images above.

1. Plant saucers (painted white) 5No. Ø240mm, 45mm deep (£1.79 each) = £8.95
2. M6 Zinc Plated threaded rods (approx 500mm long) 2 per pack = £2.99
3. 1No. Pack of 10No. M6 nuts & washers = £2.29
4. 1No. 2000 long, Ø15.0mm Easyfit Pressure Pipe (cut into 38mm long sections) = £4.75
5. 1No. Solar Fan = £29.99
Note: I drilled an additional 4No. holes in the 3 middle trays to allow the fan to get rid of any heat buildup.
